The short version

We charge for completed sessions only, we lean generous, and your statutory rights are never limited by anything on this page.

How charging works

• Your first session is free — no card required.
• A session credit is only consumed when your session completes and your Compass Report is generated. If a session ends early — a dropped connection, a technical failure, a false start — no credit is consumed. You can simply resume or start again.
• Credits never expire.

When we refund

• Technical failure on our side: if a completed session's Compass Report fails to be delivered, or a fault in the service materially broke your session, we will re-supply (regenerate / re-credit) or refund the session — your choice. Contact us at hello@alignedapp.tech and we'll make it right.
• Unused credits: if you no longer want your remaining purchased credits, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a refund of unused credits to your original payment method. Beyond 30 days, ask anyway — discretion leans your way.
• Duplicate or mistaken purchases: refunded on request — just tell us.

What we don't refund

A completed session — one that ran its course and produced your Compass Report — has been delivered. We don't refund delivered sessions because you disagreed with or disliked the reflection (the mirror sometimes says challenging things; that is the service working). If you believe a session materially failed you in some other way, contact us anyway — we'd rather hear it.

Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
